About Damien
Damien Poullenot is a French surf photographer based in Hossegor, one of Europe’s most celebrated surfing destinations. A former competitive bodyboarder and lifelong surfer, Damien brings an instinctive understanding of waves, positioning and timing to every photograph—whether he is shooting from the shoreline or swimming beneath the impact zone.
His portfolio spans surf competitions, aquatic photography, international surf trips and the culture surrounding life by the ocean. Damien has worked extensively with the World Surf League and photographed elite surfers in France and around the world. His work has also received an 18-page portfolio feature in The Surfer’s Journal.
