Print Size Guide
Choosing a size is the hardest part of buying art online. This should make it easy.

Quick rules that always work
- Above a sofa or bed: your art should span roughly two-thirds the width of the furniture. That's usually one A1, or a pair of A2s hung side by side.
- Hallways, kitchens and small walls: A3 or A4 works best — big enough to notice, not so big it crowds the space.
- Gallery walls: mix sizes. One A2 anchor with two or three A4s around it looks considered rather than cluttered.
- Desks, shelves and bedside tables: A5 and A4 sit beautifully propped rather than hung.
Hanging height
Hang so the centre of the print sits at about 145cm from the floor — roughly eye level. Above furniture, leave 15–25cm between the top of the sofa and the bottom of the frame.
Our sizes
- A5 — 14.8 x 21 cm
- A4 — 21 x 29.7 cm
- A3 — 29.7 x 42 cm
- A2 — 42 x 59.4 cm
- A1 — 59.4 x 84.1 cm
Framed prints add roughly 4–6cm to each dimension depending on the frame.
Still not sure?
Measure your wall, cut a piece of newspaper to size and tape it up for a day. It sounds daft, but it works every time — and if you're still stuck, send us a photo of the space and we'll tell you what we'd hang there.
