Print Size Guide
Choosing a size is the hardest part of buying art online. This should make it easy.

Quick rules that always work
- Statement walls: A0 is the one people underestimate. At 84 x 119 cm it fills a large wall on its own and turns a room into a gallery. Best above a large sofa, in a stairwell, or anywhere with real space around it.
- Above a sofa or bed: your art should span roughly two-thirds the width of the furniture. That's usually one A1, a single A0 above a larger sofa, or a pair of A2s hung side by side.
- Hallways, kitchens and small walls: A3 or A4 works best — big enough to notice, not so big it crowds the space.
- Gallery walls: mix sizes. One A2 anchor with two or three A4s around it looks considered rather than cluttered.
- Desks, shelves and bedside tables: A5 and A4 sit beautifully propped rather than hung.
Hanging height
Hang so the centre of the print sits at about 145cm from the floor — roughly eye level. Above furniture, leave 15–25cm between the top of the sofa and the bottom of the frame.

Framed prints add roughly 4–6cm to each dimension depending on the frame.
A0 is offered on selected artworks only. Because it's so large, we only make a piece available at this size when the original file is big enough to print it beautifully.
Frames with a mount
The size shown is the total framed size. Your artwork will appear slightly smaller because of the white border surrounding it.
- XS (A5): 25mm border
- S (A4): 38mm border
- M (A3): 50mm border
- L (A2): 50mm mount
- XL (A1): 50mm mount
- XXL (A0): 50mm mount
This white border gives the artwork a clean, gallery-style finish.
Still not sure?
Measure your wall, cut a piece of newspaper to size and tape it up for a day. It sounds daft, but it works every time — and if you're still stuck, send us a photo of the space and we'll tell you what we'd hang there.
