Douglas Schneiders

Douglas Schneiders is a Brazilian photographer and art director based in Toronto, Canada. Born in southern Brazil, his connection to the country’s coastline and surf culture continues to shape much of his photographic work.

Alongside his career in advertising, Douglas uses photography as a way to explore places, observe everyday life and document the moments that naturally catch his attention. His portfolio moves between the energetic streets of North American cities and the waves, rocky coastlines and warm light of southern Brazil.

Whether photographing a surfer drawing a line across an open face, an empty coastal landscape or a fleeting urban moment, Douglas looks for honest compositions, interesting light and images that carry a strong sense of place.
