About Damian
Damian Fulton is a Los Angeles-based painter whose pop-surrealist canvases capture Southern California surf and city life, from crowded urban beaches to hot rods and bikers. He grew up around Huntington and Newport Beach and first surfed at the Newport River Jetty aged about twelve.
Alongside his paintings, including the 'Surfploytation' series, he created the long-running BMX comic character Radical Rick and has drawn for Surfer Publications, POWDER and SNOWBOARDER. His work has been featured in The Surfer's Journal and the book Surf Graphics.
