About Rebekah
Rebekah Steen is an American watercolor artist, illustrator and creative director behind Goldfish Kiss. Her colourful, expressive work is inspired by surfing, nature, travel and the magnetic pull of sun-soaked places.
Working primarily in watercolor, Rebekah combines fluid lines, layered colour and impressionistic detail to create joyful artworks that celebrate the ocean, tropical landscapes and life’s imperfectly beautiful moments. Her paintings invite viewers to slow down, reconnect with nature and carry a little more sunshine into everyday life.
Rebekah holds a BFA from the University of Iowa and continued her studies at the Leo Marchutz School of Art in France. Her artwork has appeared across fine-art prints, books, swimwear, apparel, textiles and lifestyle products, through collaborations with brands including Rip Curl, Dkoko and Coco Moon Hawaii.
